Job Description
Job Title : Salesforce Community Cloud Developer Interview Date : 17 -0ct -24-Virtual Position Overview : The Salesforce Community Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce Community Cloud solutions. The role involves creating seamless digital experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams by leveraging the Salesforce platform, specifically the Community (Experience) Cloud. This position requires a strong understanding of Salesforce development principles and the ability to deliver custom solutions that integrate with various Salesforce modules and external systems. Key Responsibilities : - Community Development : Design, develop, and implement Salesforce communities using Community Cloud, Lightning components, and Visualforce. - Customization : Customize the Community Cloud platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies. - Integration : Integrate Salesforce Community Cloud with third-party applications, internal systems, and Salesforce modules like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. - UI/UX : Create user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing community pages, ensuring seamless experiences across different devices (desktop, mobile). - Configuration : Configure community security settings, roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing rules. - Collaboration : Work with stakeholders, business analysts, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the Community Cloud. - Automation : Implement process automation using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and other declarative tools for business logic in communities. - Documentation : Prepare detailed technical specifications, documentation, and user guides for solutions developed. - Testing & Troubleshooting : Perform unit testing, system testing, and UAT for community solutions, identifying and fixing bugs or performance issues. - Support & Maintenance : Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of the community, ensuring its availability, scalability, and security. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Experience : 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years specifically working on Salesforce Community Cloud projects. - Salesforce Expertise : Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud. Familiarity with AppExchange applications is a plus. - Development Skills : Proficiency in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL. - Web Technologies : Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end technologies for customizing community pages. - Integration Skills : Experience with integration tools such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and web services. - Security : Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profile-based access, roles, sharing settings, and security within communities. - User Experience (UX) : Experience in designing intuitive user interfaces and mobile-responsive layouts for Salesforce communities. - Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues Certifications : - Salesforce Administrator (preferred) - Salesforce Platform Developer I (required) - Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant Skills : - Experience with Lightning Design System (SLDS) and creating Lightning Components (Aura and LWC). - Knowledge of Salesforce DX for version control, packaging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics and Reports/Dashboards. - Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies. - Experience in building B2C and B2B communities.
