Webmethods Developer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Title : WebMethods Developer Job type : Full time Date : 18.10.24 - virtual interview Position Overview : The WebMethods Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying integration solutions using the Software AG WebMethods suite. The role requires strong expertise in building and supporting middleware solutions, application integration, business process management, and API management. Key Responsibilities : Design and Development : Design and implement integration solutions using WebMethods, including Flow services, Java services, and Web Services (SOAP, REST). Integration : Develop and support integrations between various systems, including enterprise applications, databases, and cloud-based platforms. API Management : Create and manage APIs using the WebMethods API Gateway and API Portal. Middleware Solutions: Implement and maintain middleware components, including message queues (JMS), adapters (JDBC, SAP, MQ, etc.), and brokers. Troubleshooting & Support : - Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for WebMethods integrations and related systems. Performance Optimization : - Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability. Documentation : - Prepare detailed technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Testing & Debugging : - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support during user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaboration : - Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : - 3-5 years of experience in WebMethods development and integration projects. Technical Expertise : - Proficient in WebMethods Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, Designer, MWS, BPM, and API Gateway. Languages : - Proficient in Java, SQL, XML, XSLT, and web services protocols (SOAP, REST). Integration Tools : - Experience with adapters (JDBC, SAP, MQ), JMS, EDI, and B2B Integrations. API Management : - Knowledge of API Gateway, API Portal, and best practices in API design and security. Database : - Experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and integration with database systems. Cloud Integration : - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based integration. Problem Solving : - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Communication : - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Certifications : - WebMethods certification is a plus. Preferred Skills : - Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, SVN).
