DevOps Engineer - Linux System Administration

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in DevOps, with expertise in Ansible, GitHub, GitLab, and extensive experience working in Linux environments. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure and : - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab for automated deployments. - Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible to streamline provisioning and automation processes. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate software development and IT operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and performance bottlenecks, ensuring system stability and scalability. - Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure optimal system performance. - Manage and optimize Linux-based systems and environments for deployment, system administration, and operations. - Ensure system security through automation, monitoring, and proactive patch management. - Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployments, and operational : - 6 to 10 years of experience in DevOps Engineering. - Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation. - Strong knowledge of GitHub and GitLab for version control and CI/CD integration. - Expertise in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell for automation tasks. - Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (preferred). - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (IAC) practices is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
