Senior Software Engineer - Windows & Linux OS

Job Description : The candidate would be responsible for developing and enhancing Camera Software platform on Windows and Linux. Responsibilities would include understanding product requirements and realizing the features as per the requirement. These would include working with camera protocols, streaming protocols and architectures, real time protocols and User Interface. Qualifications : - Bachelors (or Masters) in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications - 3 to 5 Years of Experience in Windows Desktop Application and equivalent in Linux (QT). Essential Qualifications : - Strong basics and working experience in developing with C++ on Windows platform - Experience in developing Windows Desktop application using C#. - Strong working knowledge of Win32 APIs - Knowledge of camera and video streaming protocols like RTSP or ONVIF. - Knowledge in working with image processing libraries OpenCV and GStreamer. - Experience in developing UI using Qt. - Understanding of GNU Build tools like Make and CMake. - Knowledge of usage of debugging on Linux using GDB. - Experience of working with software architectures and Object-Oriented Principals. - Good understanding of TCP/IP and streaming protocols - Experience in working on real time streaming based applications - Ability to convert requirements into architectures and design - Willing to carry out development activities following essential development standards (ref:hirist.tech)
