Senior Network Architect - Zscaler

Position : Senior Network Architect. Location : Pune Ghorpadi. Exp : 8 - 10yrs. Must have skill : zsZscaler, Fortinet. Job Description : - Design and deploy functional networks including LANs, WANs, internet connections, intranets, and other data communications systems. - Create detailed network specifications and architecture drawings. - Develop and implement strategies for the installation of network hardware, software, and other related equipment. - Develop network and security strategies, roadmaps, and architecture models aligned with business and technology goals. - Establish secure, scalable public and private cloud environments. - Develop cloud integration strategies to ensure seamless interaction between on-premises infrastructure and cloud services. - Work closely with software development teams to facilitate complex, distributed application footprints incorporating a combination of cloud, on-premises, and microservices architectures. - Implement high-availability solutions for both network and application layers to ensure uninterrupted service and performance. - Develop and implement geo-redundant solutions, including transparent caches, load balancers, and CDN switches to optimize content delivery and enhance disaster recovery capabilities. - Help in establishing a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure continuous monitoring and management of our network infrastructure. - Develop operational protocols and lead a team dedicated to network reliability, incident response, and security compliance. - Experience with various vendors and technologies and hardware including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Meraki and others. - Work closely with IT security to ensure network security and compliance with relevant standards. - Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide high-level technical support on complex network issues. - Optimize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. - Stay abreast of new technologies and propose upgrades and modifications to enhance system performance. - Collaborate with project managers and other IT personnel to ensure timely and on budget execution of network projects. - Mentor and guide junior network engineers and other technical staff. Qualifications : - Minimum of 10 years' experience in network architecture, design, and implementation. - Technical experience in managing a large, complex enterprise with more than 50 locations. - Architecting world-class, large-scale data networks for global enterprises that maximize security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. - Experience with enterprise architecture principles and zero trust networks. - Experience with developing network and security architecture artifacts (architecture models, guiding principles, patterns, standards, and related taxonomy). - Understanding of network device configuration and troubleshooting (FortiNet or Cisco). - Understanding of advanced features like GRE, IPSEC, IP quality-of-service, VLANs, and multicast. - Understanding of IP4 and IPv6 network design, including IP subnetting and protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP. - Familiar with network management protocols, like SNMP, SSH, syslog, RADIUS/TACACS. - Strong understanding of the latest networking technologies, such as SD-WAN, SASE, 5G, IoT, Wireless Networking, edge computing, and cloud networking. - Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools. - Solid understanding of network operating systems (such as FortiOS or Cisco IOS). - Professional certifications (e., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE) are highly desirable. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong communication skills. - Liaison, Coordination & Communication. - Reporting to: o Directly with ST IT USA for all the technical related matters o Admin Manager ST India for personal, HR and day-today matters.
