SIRO Clinpharm - Data Scientist/Statistical Programmer - R/Python/SAS

Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist/Statistical Programmer with strong expertise in R, Python, and SAS to join our team. This role involves leveraging your programming skills to analyze complex datasets, develop statistical models, and create insightful reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. Role & Responsibilities : - Utilize R, Python, and SAS to perform advanced data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and statistical modeling. - Interpret complex datasets to generate actionable insights and support business objectives. - Develop and implement statistical models using R and SAS to analyze trends, patterns, and relationships within large datasets. - Ensure models are validated and reliable. - Write efficient, well-documented, and reusable code in R and Python for data processing, analysis, and visualization. - Develop and maintain SAS programs for data manipulation and reporting. - Create clear, informative, and interactive visualizations to represent complex data insights. - Utilize tools and libraries in R (e.g, ggplot2) and Python (e. g, Matplotlib, Seaborn) to present data effectively. - Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate findings and support decision-making. - Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and meet stakeholder requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, statisticians, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet project requirements. - Perform rigorous testing and validation of data analysis processes and models. - Identify and address any discrepancies, errors, or issues in the data or analysis. - Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and statistical programming. - Propose and implement improvements to enhance data analysis processes and methodologies. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field. - Experience in data analysis, statistical programming, and data visualization using R, Python, and SAS. - Proven experience in handling large datasets, developing statistical models, and creating data-driven insights. - Proficiency in R programming, including experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g, dplyr, tidyr) and visualization tools (e.g, ggplot2). - Expertise in Python for data analysis, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools (e. g, Matplotlib, Seaborn). - Strong knowledge of SAS programming, including data management, statistical procedures, and report generation. - Solid understanding of statistical methods, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning techniques. - Familiarity with SQL and experience in querying databases. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment (ref:hirist.tech)
