SAP Lead - ABAP/BTP Modules

Job Description : Our client is a rapidly growing IT Services company that serves clients across Europe, Central Asia, America, and India. Specializing in Manufacturing, Fintech, and Healthtech, they provide customized IT solutions including SAP Services and Microsoft Services. Their development centers are based in Kolkata and Navi Mumbai. Key Points : - All SAP implementation projects are on RISE or On-Prem S/4HANA. - Expertise in IT Strategy, Development, Customization, Implementation, and Maintenance of client IT environments. Roles and Responsibilities : - ABAP Development : Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, interfaces, enhancements, and reports to meet business requirements in SAP S/4HANA systems. - Selective Data Transfer (SDT) : Extract, transform, and load data from legacy SAP systems into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity during migration. - SNP Bluefield Migration : Leverage proficiency in SNP Bluefield Migration to design and execute efficient migration strategies. - Technical Analysis : Conduct thorough technical analysis to identify areas for improvement, performance optimization, and automation. - Integration : Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to integrate custom ABAP solutions with existing SAP modules and external systems. - Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test plans, conduct unit testing, and support UAT to ensure quality in ABAP developments and migrations. - Documentation : Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and comprehensive solution details. - Knowledge Transfer : Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge-sharing within the SAP ABAP practice. - Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with SAP technologies, ABAP programming techniques, and migration methodologies. Desired Skills and Experience : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. - Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 3 years focused on S/4HANA. - Migration Expertise : Proven expertise in Selective Data Transfer (SDT) or SNP Bluefield Migration, with successful project implementations. - Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of SAP BTP/SAP HANA ABAP programming concepts, including OOP, REST APIs, ODATA, ALV reporting, BAPIs, RFCs, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development. - S/4HANA : Experience with S/4HANA data models, CDS views, and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) is highly desirable. - Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Certifications : SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA certifications are a plus. - This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SAP ABAP Lead with proven experience in S/4HANA implementation and technical expertise in SAP ABAP development.
