Technical Lead - Full Stack Development

Role Overview : Elixia Inc. is looking for an experienced and driven Tech Lead/Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer to take a hands-on role in building cutting-edge solutions while providing leadership and guidance to the development team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can lead by example, manage complex development projects, and deliver efficient, scalable solutions to meet business and customer : Project Leadership & Development : - Understand business and customer requirements and ensure timely completion of development tasks. - Provide leadership and technical expertise across all stages of the development lifecycle. - Ensure all team members follow Agile methodologies and coding standards, delivering modular and readable code. - Lead code reviews, oversee code quality, and apply security measures to enhance performance, space, and time optimization. - Mentor and manage team members, ensuring adherence to processes, meeting project timelines, and resolving technical issues. Technology & Innovation : - Stay updated on the latest technologies and leverage them to enhance development efficiency and product performance. - Implement and promote modern software architecture practices, such as MVC, modular design, and object-oriented programming. - Lead efforts in creating and optimizing RESTful APIs, web services, and database-driven applications using Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js. - Collaborate on frontend development using React.js (optional). - Implement and manage DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Docker, Kubernetes (optional), and AWS. - Optimize systems for performance using Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka (optional), and explore integration with GenAI tools Documentation, & Process Adherence : - Ensure comprehensive unit and module testing for all development work, with a focus on quality and performance. - Maintain strong documentation practices for all tasks and ensure the same across the team. - Oversee the deployment and post-deployment process, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed. People Management : - Manage the performance and development of team members, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for growth. - Facilitate technical training and foster a collaborative environment to encourage innovation. - Ensure all team members adhere to the company's coding standards, security protocols, and best practices. Expected Skills & Competencies : - Languages : Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Backend Frameworks : Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js. - Frontend : Optional experience with React.js and responsive design. - Databases : In-depth experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and knowledge of Cassandra (optional). - DevOps : Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (optional), CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure. - Other Tools : Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka (optional). Experience with GenAI tools (optional). - Experience with coding standards, best practices, and Agile development methodologies. - Strong understanding of high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD). - Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain sectors is an added : - 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with leadership experience. - Strong expertise in backend technologies (Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs) and frontend (React.js optional). - Experience working with databases like MySQL and MongoDB. - Proven ability to manage, lead, and mentor a team of developers. - Proficiency in building scalable, secure, and efficient systems. - Experience working with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities, performance orientation, and a goal-driven mindset. - Leadership qualities such as self-confidence, adaptability, and presence of mind in various situations. - Openness to continuous learning and improvement.
