Embedded Software Engineer - C/C++ Programming

Company Name : Alten Global Role : Embedded Software Developer Location : Dehradun Experience Range : 3 to 12 Years Employment Type : Regular / Permanent Technical Skills Required : - Hands-on experience in Embedded C, Very strong exposure in C Programming concepts, C or C++. - Linux, command of Linux OS IPC - Inter-Process Communication exposure is good to have (Multi-threading and Socket Programming) - Good knowledge of Networking protocols like Socket Programming/ RTSP/ TCP/ IP/ ONVIF etc is an advantage - Working experience or Knowledge with Microprocessors like Arm 7/9, Cortex A8/A15, Qualcomm, Intel, IMX,NXP,TDMI, TI etc will be a huge plus. - Good exposure with Device Drivers and Kernel Programming will be a plus. - Knowledge of Hardware Peripherals is also a plus. - You have good logical skills and problem-solving skills. - Good in communication and articulation of things to all. - You take complete ownership of timely product delivery with impeccable software quality - You have an experience in building, leading, and managing multi-engineer project teams - You have ability to navigate the teams through fast changing market needs You possess strong people leadership skills in growing/nurturing/mentoring the young engineers. - You are a motivated problem solver KRA for Embedded Software Engineer : - Develop optimized embedded software using C/C++ for hardware platforms. - Implement networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT) for system communication. - Interface software with hardware peripherals (sensors, drivers, modules). - Debug and resolve software issues with effective troubleshooting techniques. - Document software design, code, and test procedures thoroughly. - Optimize code for performance, memory, and power efficiency. - Collaborate with hardware and QA teams for seamless integration. - Drive continuous improvement by staying updated on industry trends.
