Saasvaap - Senior Backend Developer - Java/Spring

Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with over 7 years of programming experience in Java, Spring, AWS, and Kafka. You will play a key role in developing private APIs and messaging endpoints, enhancing the platform's functionality and administrative controls. Your expertise in building microservices and CI/CD pipelines will help us deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : - Design and develop private APIs and messaging endpoints to enhance platform capabilities and administrative functionalities. - Build and maintain microservices, ensuring seamless integration and high availability across services. - Implement and optimize pipelines for CI/CD to streamline deployment and improve development workflows. - Utilize object-oriented and functional programming principles to build reliable, high-performance applications. - Address challenges related to scalability, consistency, and availability while maintaining low latency in a real-time operating environment. - Work with high-throughput messaging technologies and patterns, including Apache Kafka, Flink, and Spark, to ensure efficient data processing and communication. - Manage and optimize various database types, including relational, analytical, columnar, and graph databases. - Familiarity with Redis and Cassandra is a plus. - Integrate and manage message brokers such as MQTT, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, and/or hosted services for effective message handling. - Experience with WebSockets or other real-time communication technologies to facilitate responsive user interactions. - Focus on building secure applications and implementing best practices in security engineering. Requirements : - 7 years of software development experience, particularly in backend development with Java, Spring, AWS, and Kafka. - Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming, with deep knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Exposure to various database types (relational, analytical, columnar, graph) with experience in MySQL; knowledge of Redis and Cassandra is a plus. - Strong experience with high-throughput messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, and familiarity with message brokers (MQTT, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ) (ref:hirist.tech)
