Job Description

Role: Software Test Engineer II Automation WFH and WFO Job description : 1. Automation Testing : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both new and existing features using industry-leading automation tools. - Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the software testing process. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. 1. Manual Testing : - Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of the software meets the specified requirements. - Create and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. 1. Test Strategy and Planning : - Contribute to the development of test strategies and test plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality standards. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testing efforts, timelines, and resource requirements. 1. Defect Tracking and Reporting : - Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Generate comprehensive test summary reports for project stakeholders, providing insights into testing progress, defect status, and overall software quality. 1. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with development, product management, and quality assurance teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Effectively communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders. Requirements : 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in software testing with a focus on both automation and manual testing. 3. Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as [mention relevant tools], scripting languages, and frameworks. 4. Extensive experience with manual testing methodologies, test case design, and execution. 5. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices. 6.
