Oracle DB Developer - PL-SQL

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and optimizing complex database solutions. Your expertise in PL/SQL and data engineering will be instrumental in delivering efficient and reliable data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain complex database objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. - Optimize database queries and indexes to improve performance and scalability. - Design and implement data models that align with business requirements. - Apply data engineering principles to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency. - Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. - Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to maintain data accuracy. - Utilize ETL tools to automate data integration and transformation tasks. - Design and develop robust ETL workflows that efficiently process large volumes of data. - Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to identify and resolve issues promptly. - Analyze database performance and identify bottlenecks. - Implement optimization techniques, such as indexing, partitioning, and query tuning. - Monitor database health and proactively address potential issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and integration needs. - Design and implement data integration solutions that seamlessly connect disparate data sources. - Ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization. - Contribute to data warehouse design, development, and maintenance. - Participate in data warehouse ETL processes and data quality assurance. - Support data warehouse reporting and analytics initiatives. - Leverage knowledge of Big Data technologies to analyze large datasets and extract valuable insights. - Apply financial domain expertise to develop data-driven solutions that support business decision-making. Required Skills and Experience : - 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development. - Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and SQL tuning. - Expertise in ETL tools (e. Informatica, Talend, SSIS). - In-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts and methodologies. - Experience with Big Data technologies (e., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus. - Knowledge of financial domain concepts and regulations. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desired Qualifications : - Oracle Database certifications (e., OCP, OCM). - Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e., Oracle Autonomous Database, AWS RDS). - Familiarity with scripting languages (e., Python, Shell). - A passion for data and a drive to deliver innovative solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
