Job Description
Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and talented Delivery Manager-Product Technology to join our dynamic engineering team. As a- Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical vision and architecture of our cutting-edge sustainability software platform. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that enable our customers to achieve their net-zero goals Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to) : - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, guiding them in best practices, design patterns, and problem-solving techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and data scientists, to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. - Design and architect highly scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems that can handle large volumes of data and complex business logic. - Ensure the codebase adheres to industry-standard coding practices, testing methodologies, and software engineering principles. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the sustainability and software engineering domains. - Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the organization. Requirements : - Bachelor's or Ma ster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 8 years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality software systems. - Expertise in designing and developing large-scale, distributed, and highly available software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, React, Node.js). - Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, clean code, SOLID principles). - Proficient in database design, optimization, and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data modeling). - Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. - Proficient in Agile software development methodologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) - Familiarity with sustainability-related domains, such as carbon accounting, energy management, or supply chain optimization. Good to have : - Experience leading and mentoring Technology/engineering teams. - Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, ESG). - Knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques for sustainability applications. - Involvement in open-source projects or contributions to the software engineering community. - Certifications in cloud computing, software architecture, or sustainability-related domains.
