Product Analytics Engineer - ETL/SQL

About the job : We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analytics Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in product data analysis to guide product strategy and drive business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing product and monitoring product performance while providing actionable insights to optimize product features and support successful product launches. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics for business growth and ensure product performance aligns with sales forecasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools, with a proven track record of using data-driven insights to drive revenue growth and improve product performance. Your expertise in product analytics will play a key role in shaping product strategy and ensuring business objectives are met. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze product performance to identify improvement opportunities and respond to market demands. - Provide accurate forecasts on product performance based on market data and internal metrics. - Develop and recommend product launch strategies using data-driven insights to meet and exceed sales forecasts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with market trends and company goals. - Continuously monitor post-launch product performance to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization. - Provide actionable insights to influence product strategy and help meet or exceed sales expectations. - Collect and analyze data from various sources to extract actionable insights. - Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to interpret trends and patterns. - Identify opportunities for product improvements based on data analysis and provide data-driven recommendations. - Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators regularly. - Conduct thorough evaluations to measure product performance against goals and benchmarks. - Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize product efficiency. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements. - Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product changes or new features. - Present data analysis and product performance evaluations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Technical Skills Required : - Data Analysis : Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret product data. - Python : Expertise in using Python for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data manipulation. - A/B Testing : Experience in planning, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to evaluate product changes and performance. - Data Engineering : Strong understanding of data engineering concepts to support data collection, processing, and analysis. - SQL : Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting actionable insights from large datasets. - Account Retention & Growth : Ability to analyze customer behavior and identify key factors that drive account retention and growth. - Churn Analysis : Expertise in understanding and predicting customer churn, and providing insights to reduce churn rates and increase customer loyalty (ref:hirist.tech)
