Network Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities : SAN Switches (SN6620c) : - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SAN switches. - Perform zoning and fabric management. - Diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues. HPE GreenLake for Block Storage MP : - Manage and optimize cloud storage solutions. - Implement data services such as Virtual Copy, Remote Copy, and Peer Persistence. - Monitor and enhance storage performance and capacity. HPE Alletra 4120 for Backup : - Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions. - Ensure data protection and integrity. - Integrate backup solutions with existing IT infrastructure. MSL Tape Library (Base Module) : - Manage tape storage and library operations. - Interface with backup software for efficient data management. - Maintain and troubleshoot tape drives and libraries. DL560 Gen11 and DL380 Gen11 : - Install, configure, and maintain server hardware. - Manage operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). - Perform regular system updates and maintenance. CX8325, CX8100, CX6200M : - Configure and manage network switches. - Ensure network security and performance. - Troubleshoot network issues and optimize configurations. Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Proficiency in Fibre Channel protocols and SAN architecture. - Experience with cloud storage solutions and data management. - Knowledge of backup and recovery technologies. - Familiarity with server hardware and operating systems. - Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Certifications : - Relevant HPE certifications for storage, networking, and server management. - Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network, CompTIA Security, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to document procedures and troubleshooting steps. - Team collaboration and customer service skills.
