BharatPe - Senior Data Analyst - R/Python

About the Role : We are searching for a sharp and results-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making by leveraging your analytical expertise to extract valuable insights from loan portfolio data. You will be responsible for creating and managing data warehouses, conducting in-depth analyses, and communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities : Data Warehousing & Management : - Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses for efficient storage and retrieval of loan portfolio data. - Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the lifecycle. Loan Portfolio Analytics : - Analyze loan portfolio trends (growth, delinquency) across various segments (product, partner, etc.) - Conduct risk assessments through advanced analytics (NPA analysis, etc.) - Develop and maintain automated reports for offline and online data systems using Python, Metabase, and other relevant tools. Strategic Insights & Communication : - Partner with business stakeholders to identify strategic data needs and translate them into actionable insights roadmaps. - Clearly articulate technical and statistical concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds. - Influence senior leadership by effectively communicating data-driven & Collaboration : - Identify data gaps and work with business teams to address them collaboratively. - Utilize a diverse range of analytical techniques (exploratory analysis, causal inference, experimentation, ML) to solve complex problems. - Develop and implement processes to optimize data management and analysis workflows. Required Technical Skills : - Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying. - Solid experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting. - Advanced knowledge of Excel functions and data analysis techniques. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Experience with data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Required Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business (Com/M. Com/MBA/MSC-IT/MCA), or a related field. - 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Banking/NBFC/Fintech sector. - Experience with credit risk analytics is a strong plus. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to translate complex data insights into clear and concise presentations for stakeholders at all levels. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Desired Skills : - Experience with R programming language (a plus). - Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e., AWS, Azure) (a plus) (ref:hirist.tech)
