Position : Software Developer Experience : 4-12 Years Notice Period Required : Immediate to 15 days Max Education : B.E./B.Tech Job Location : Bangalore (Manytatech) Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled L2/L3 Protocol Developer with extensive experience in C programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network protocols and the ability to design, implement, and debug complex protocol stacks. You will work on cutting-edge projects related to networking, communications, and systems software. Key Responsibilities : - Protocol Development : Design, develop, and maintain Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) network protocols, including but not limited to Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and others. - C Programming : Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in C. Optimize existing code and troubleshoot complex issues. - System Integration : Integrate protocol stacks with existing systems and ensure compatibility across various hardware and software platforms. - Testing and Debugging : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for protocol validation. Utilize debugging tools to identify and resolve issues. - Performance Tuning : Analyze and optimize protocol performance to ensure high throughput, low latency, and efficient resource usage. - Documentation : Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, and testing reports. - Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure successful product delivery. Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Experience : Minimum of [4] years of professional experience in L2/L3 protocol development. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in C programming language. - In-depth knowledge of network protocols at Layer 2 and Layer 3. - Experience with network protocol analysis and debugging tools. - Familiarity with Linux or other Unix-like operating systems. - Experience with network simulation and emulation tools is a plus. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Interview mode : first round Virtual and final round will be F2F. Skills Required : C Programming Developer along with data structure and algorithms, feature developer, Opps concepts and Any L2/L3/4g/LTE/5G Protocol development experience will be considered.
