Data Scientist - Predictive Modeling

Job Description : We are looking for a Data Scientist to leverage advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to drive operational improvements in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production data, optimizing processes, and implementing predictive models to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and support decision-making. Key Responsibilities : 1. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and areas for process optimization. 2. Develop predictive models for maintenance, quality control, and production efficiency. 3. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement AI-driven solutions. 4. Use machine learning algorithms to predict equipment failures and optimize production schedules. 5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies. 6. Conduct root-cause analysis for operational bottlenecks using AI-driven : 1. B.Tech or M.Tech in Metallurgy or Material Science (Preference : IIT, IIIT, NIT). 2. 2 years of hands-on experience working on Data Science projects. 3. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.(plus) 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Technical Skill : 1. Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning. 2. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering). 3. Experience with data wrangling and statistical analysis. 5. Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib). 6. Proficiency in using SQL and NoSQL databases.
