Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Role : QA Engineer (Experience in both manual and automated testing). Experience: 5 Years. Location : Remote (Mumbai). Job Description : The Senior QA Engineer will lead quality assurance efforts across multiple projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies. This role involves creating test plans, automating test cases, performing manual testing, identifying defects, and ensuring products meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Key Responsibilities : Test Strategy & Planning : - Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including automation, regression, performance, and load testing. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage, review requirements and designs for testability. - Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities across projects. Test Case Design & Execution : - Design, develop, and maintain test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures for manual and automated tests. - Execute tests, report defects, and follow up on issue resolution. - Maintain test environments, ensuring they are up to date and reflective of the production environment. Automation & Continuous Integration : - Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous validation of code quality. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency. Defect Management : - Track, manage, and report on defects using appropriate tools (e., JIRA). - Analyze root causes and collaborate with the development team to fix and verify issues. - Define defect severity and priority based on business and technical impact. Required Skills & Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - 5 years of experience in software quality assurance. - Experience in both manual and automated testing. - Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e. Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Strong knowledge of continuous integration tools (e. Jenkins, Github CI). - Experience with testing in Agile/Scrum environments. - Proficiency in at Javascript Language. Technical Skills : - Expertise in creating and executing test cases, as well as managing test plans. - Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and system integration. - Experience with performance/load testing tools (e., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).
