Job Title : Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer Job Type : Fulltime Date : 19.10.24 virtual Interview Key Responsibilities : - ODI Development & Implementation : Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to support data integration and data warehousing solutions. - Data Integration : Develop and manage data integration workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (databases, applications, APIs, etc.) into the target systems. - ODI Architecture : Work with ODI repository, master and work repositories, and ODI agents. Configure and manage ODI models, interfaces, packages, procedures, and load plans. - Performance Tuning : Optimize ETL processes and ODI mappings for high performance, scalability, and efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. - Data Quality & Governance : Implement data quality rules and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across integration processes. - Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data integration solutions align with business needs. - Technical Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including ETL design, architecture diagrams, and data flow processes. Required Skills : - ODI Expertise : 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development, including creating and managing mappings, interfaces, packages, and load plans. - ETL Experience : Strong experience with ETL concepts, including data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple heterogeneous data sources to target systems. - Oracle Database Knowledge : Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases, including SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning. - Data Warehousing : Experience with data warehousing solutions, star/snowflake schemas, and building data marts. - Performance Optimization : Proven ability in performance tuning of ODI mappings and processes, including debugging and troubleshooting. - Data Governance: Experience implementing data quality and governance policies, ensuring the consistency and reliability of data integration solutions. Desirable Skills : - Cloud Integration : Experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any other cloud technologies is a plus. - Scripting Skills : Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for task automation and system integration. - Data Modeling : Knowledge of data modeling concepts, tools, and best practices for developing efficient data integration solutions. - Version Control & CI/CD : Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for ODI.
