EY - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Responsibilities : - Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts - Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and ensure testability of features - Identify and document software defects and work with development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results - Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports - Maintain and improve test automation frameworks Requirements : - 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation testing - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or C# - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver or Appium - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured - Experience in writing SQL queries for database validation - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or TeamCity - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Effective problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling - Experience with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure - Certifications in testing or automation tools (ref:hirist.tech)
