Lead Manual Test Engineer - Functional/Integration Testing

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Manual Tester with over 5 years of experience in testing software products. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the entire testing cycle, a strong technical background in Microsoft environments, and experience working on web-based, responsive applications. Projects are primarily developed in Angular and DotNet Core, so knowledge of cross-browser testing, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and working with Azure servers is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and manage the end-to-end manual testing process for web-based software products. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and review requirements and ensure testability. - Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, covering all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure web applications are fully responsive and compatible with all supported platforms. - Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring thorough follow-up with the development team for timely resolution. - Implement and ensure adherence to testing best practices, processes, and standards. - Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data sets. - Work closely with DevOps teams to understand and test CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth releases and deployments. - Manage and execute test cases on Azure DevOps and other related tools. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, overseeing test case reviews and fostering a high standard of quality. - Ensure seamless integration of testing into the development process and advocate for quality at every stage of development. Requirements : - 5 years of experience in Manual Testing across the entire software testing life cycle. - Proven experience testing web-based applications built on Angular and DotNet Core. - Expertise in cross-browser testing and testing responsive web applications. - Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with debugging web issues. - Hands-on experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps or similar. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and build automation. - Good understanding of Azure Servers and cloud-based testing environments Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with development teams and stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in testing cloud-based applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. - Familiarity with test automation frameworks (nice to have). - Basic knowledge of DevOps tools and processes, with the ability to coordinate testing in CI/CD environments. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
