Currently we have an urgent job opening for- Sr. Implementation Specialist position with one of our clients, located at- Andheri (East). Our clients : Headquartered in New York, the company has offices in London, Milan, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Beijing. Most of the company's 300 staff are highly skilled software development engineers and professional services consultants. Their customers are market leading investment banks, broker dealers, asset managers, and custodians including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, M&G and UBS. They provide an EDM solution suite with applications that are integrated to work together as a single platform. The suite includes several functional components that can be licensed individually or together depending on our customers' business need. It is a founding member of the EDM Council, an industry grouping of leading global financial institutions raising enterprise data management awareness and discussing implementation strategies across the industry. Regular meetings are held in the US and Europe. Position Title : Senior Implementation Specialist / Project Manager Location : Andheri, Mumbai Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computer Education or similar field Experience Required : 10 -15 Years Employment type : Full-time Job Description : About The Role : Candidates will be part of the Professional Services Group and work as project Manager and lead a team of implementation consultants. An Implementation Consultant uses of client and functional knowledge to understand client requirements, advice on solution design in line with Product and industry best practices and use their technical knowledge to configure and test the solution for our clients after the initial purchase has already taken place. An attractive candidate will typically have fifteen or more years of experience and up to five years of leadership responsibility in managing medium to large-scale, technical/ functional project implementations for an enterprise software solutions provider focusing on change the bank activities. Industry Experience : Client is looking to augment its Professional Services team with someone having specific industry experience within the IT arena having previously worked with on projects in Data management space for asset types like Equities, Bonds, FX, Futures, Forwards, Options, Swaps, Volatilities, Credit Curves, and Commodities with client facing exposure. Domain experience in Asset management, Custody, Hedge fund, Pension Fund, Risk would be preferred. Key Responsibilities : - Defining and Analyzing scope of work, project sequencing, resource planning, time estimation, scheduling, cost estimation, risk analysis - Understand business issues and to clearly explain technical alternatives to senior business decision makers - Provide technical guidance & leadership to the team of implementation consultants - Track and review progress of overall project and its modules - Interface with clients to communicate progress and ensure projects stay on track. - Tracking and reviewing the team's performance by conducting periodic reviews for all the areas and ensuring they adhere to the delivery schedule and other objectives. Required Skill sets : - Extensive project and program management experience in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, with responsibility for resource management, Risk Management and client engagement - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors. - Proficiency in client communication and escalation management Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others - Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline - Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures - Experience managing multiple clients and a global client base with strong knowledge of Agile/SCRUM processes. Experience of leading teams located in multiple regions would be an added advantage. - Proficiency to operate independently - Knowledge of Market data (Securities reference data, prices and data Vendors) - Experience/knowledge of ORACLE or similar RDBMS data management systems, workflow tools, JAVA and application server technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
