Job Description

NetEye, the flagship product of Würth Phoenix, is a unified monitoring platform encompassing Monitoring, ITOA, APM, SIEM & LOG Management, and Service Management. It supports business operations by offering comprehensive visibility into the health of IT infrastructure and active services, ensuring safe and reliable observability of IT environments. To strengthen our DevOps Team, we are seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to lead the development of our CI/CD pipelines on NetEye. Responsibilities: Support the SRE approach by driving continuous improvement through effective automation and established patterns. Provide guidelines and best practices for team members. Administer, monitor, and maintain systems and pipelines within NetEye. Optimize observability, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes. Proactively identify and mitigate potential failures, leveraging Chaos Engineering techniques. Streamline operations and workflows to reduce complexity. Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance the efficiency and quality of software. Requirements: Proven experience in SRE/DevOps/DevSecOps practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Critical and analytical thinking abilities with effective problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative in seeking new solutions and optimizations. In-depth technical knowledge of Linux system administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise. Familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift. Proficiency in scripting and automation, especially with Python, Ansible, and Terraform. Nice to have: Experience with Agile working methodologies. Knowledge of the ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana). Red Hat OpenShift certifications.
