ABOUT THE ROLE JOB TITLE: Negotiation Manager LOCATION: Milan - our HQ (Hybrid) TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent SALARY RANGE: Between 44k - 65k depending on seniority Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Negotiation Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in negotiating and securing optimal contracts with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and local service providers globally. This role is crucial in ensuring we deliver high-quality, cost-effective travel experiences while maintaining strong relationships with our partners worldwide. The Negotiation Manager will also play a vital role in supporting our tour operator team by defining and implementing best negotiating strategies. These strategies will be tailored based on destination performance metrics, current market trends in tourist services, and ongoing cost developments in the travel industry. This strategic input will be essential in maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring our offerings remain attractive and viable in a dynamic market. The ideal candidate will combine sharp business acumen with a deep understanding of the global travel landscape, enabling them to navigate complex negotiations and drive value for both our company and our customers. What you'll do: Lead negotiations with DMCs and local service providers worldwide to ensure best rates within the market for our package services. Manage and nurture relationships with key partners across various destinations. Develop and implement negotiation strategies based on destination performance and market trends. Analyze and optimize contract terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services. Ensure all contracts comply with local regulations and company standards. Be responsible for delivering top quality itineraries and implementing improvements to ensure customer experience is paramount and WeRoad is a provider of world-leading experiences. Be a key part of our crisis management team, and support our emergency process. What we’re looking for: 5 years of experience in contract management, within the travel industry is a definite plus. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills. Proven track record in negotiating complex contracts with international partners. Strong understanding of the millennial travel market and current industry trends. Excellent analytical skills, particularly in financial modeling and contract analysis. An excellent relationship builder, and someone who will relish the opportunity to build strong relationships for WeRoad with external partners. Have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic startup/scaleup environment, and thrive under pressure. Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus. Commercially minded, analytical, competent at handling data sets, and can work autonomously to solve problems. Passion for creating exceptional experiences and willingness to travel internationally as needed.
