Job Description

Mechanical Project Engineer (Trasaghis - UD) OPPORTUNITY: The person is responsible for the design, analysis and development of mechanical systems. He uses advanced CAD skills to create efficient and safe components and devices, with a strong focus on precision and regulatory compliance. He/she actively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electronic and software aspects, contributing to the realisation of innovative projects in various industrial sectors. You will be placed in a collaborative and very stimulating environment where continuous growth is the core element of our team. You will be supported and involved in international projects with the aim of acquiring a mix of skills to complete your professional profile and face complex challenges in the world of Industry 4.0. RESPONSABILITIES: Understanding of Industrial Robotics and Mechanical Systems Thorough knowledge of industrial robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics and practical applications of industrial robots. Familiarity with the design of mechanical systems for industrial robots, including actuators, manipulators and gripper systems. Mechanical Design Skills Significant experience in the design of mechanical components and systems for robotic applications. Proficient use of CAD tools (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and technical documentation. Integration of Robotic Systems Close collaboration with electrical engineering and programming team to integrate mechanical components with electronic systems and control software. Ability to interpret and develop mechanical diagrams in coordination with functional and control requirements. Design Optimisation and Safety Design of robust and safe mechanical systems for industrial applications, complying with relevant safety regulations. Ability to optimise design to improve the efficiency and reliability of industrial robots. Technical Support and Project Management Provision of technical support during installation, testing and commissioning of robotic systems at customer sites. Effective management of the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation and after-sales support. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design for industrial robotic applications. Thorough knowledge of CAD software for design and technical documentation. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Results orientation, problem solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to travel occasionally to support the installation and testing of systems at customer sites.
