Job Description SCOPE AND IMPACT: In this role you will support the ASPP of our plant in San Paolo di Piave in the Environment, Health and Safety activities and projects in our plant. You will be part of the larger EHS community of O-I Italy: we have 10 plants in Italy and 1 in Hungary, each with at least one EHS specialist in it. In this role you will report to San Polo's Senior EHS Specialist (direct line) and to the Italy-Hungary EHS Manager (dotted line). YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: assist the plant Senior EHS Specialist in developing and updating EHS policies, procedures, and training materials conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations support the investigation of incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions participate in safety training sessions and workshops for employees, promoting awareness and a safety culture monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, contributing to the preparation of reports for management review help maintain safety records, documentation, and databases to ensure regulatory compliance In this role you will collaborate with various departments to promote safe work practices and environmental stewardship, cooperating both with professionals in San Polo plant and with management from our Italian HQ. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Relevant university degree (i.e. Environmental Engineering) A short experience in the EHS team of a manufacturing company Italian CEFR level C2/Native, English CEFR level B2 or above REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS You’re open to ideas and concepts presented by your colleagues - collaboration will be the keystone of your success in O-I You actively listen to your colleagues and are willing to build strong internal relationships in our San Polo plant You enjoy engaging with co-workers to get work done - our EHS professionals in the plant are in direct contact with the shop floor Additional Information If you are smart, passionate, innovative, culturally open, curious and collaborative, we’d like to hear from you.
