What you will do

1. Identify, evaluate, and patch security vulnerabilities across Mark43's products;
2. Collaborate with software development teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure application security;
3. Manage dependencies in applications with a high reliance on both internal and external dependencies;
4. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure adherence to security standards;
5. Implement CI/CD pipelines with a focus on secure development and deployment;
6. Work closely with the DevOps team to enhance container security and conduct vulnerability scanning for container images;
7. Maintain best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure secret handling.

Must haves

1. 4+ years of Full-stack experience with Java;
2. Willingness to work with security application;
3. Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

1. Familiarity with security terminology and frameworks;
2. Basic understanding of container technology and secure secret handling;
3. Kubernetes experience or similar container orchestration tools;
4. Container image vulnerability scanning;
5. Understanding of cryptography (ciphers/algorithms);
6. Authentication/Authorization best practices in line with industry standards;
7. Experience with CI/CD tools;
