About this position

The Administrative Services Division (ACP) of the Budget and Administrative Services Department (BDA) is responsible for managing IDB’s corporate real estate portfolio, providing workplace services including travel, security, and general services, managing physical and digital records, and leading the Corporate Sustainability Program (CSP) of the IDB Group. Collectively the work of the ACP is focused on developing and providing creative, adaptive, practical, and sustainable workplace solutions for our employees so they can focus on the organization’s mission of improving lives.

ACP is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, innovative, client-focused, and collaborative consultant to support, contribute and lead data analytics projects as well as to oversee the ongoing monitoring of Bank Records Management performance, coordinating the implementation of corrective measures as needed.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop and maintain complex data analytics dashboards in collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Analyze data, identify issues and coordinate the implementation of corrective measures in close collaboration with Business Units.
  • Monitor, measure and report on Records Management performance.
  • Provide support and training to IDB Group Personnel on ACP data analytics solutions.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by documenting existing processes, identifying opportunities for automation, enhanced reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to workplace solutions projects as required.

What you'll need

  • Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Management, Data Science, Business Analytics or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional practical experience. Demonstrable experience in the design, development and maintenance of complex dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, project management, business analysis, and process optimization. Advanced interpersonal and communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively deliver presentations, communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds and workstyles. Experience in the delivery of trainings and support knowledge of the concepts, principles and practice of information, document, records and archives management focused on digital records is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required. Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of our 48-member countries and a citizen or permanent resident of a country where the IDB has a Country Office.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
  • Remote Modality: The selected candidate will not provide services from the Bank’s office and will not be provided a physical space on the premises of the Bank’s Country Office. The candidate selected will be responsible for setting up the space, and for having the equipment, internet, and phone accesses to accomplish these TORs, outside the Bank’s office. Access to the Bank’s systems will be arranged in coordination with the Bank.

  • Type of contract: National Consultant (National Remote Modality).
  • Length of contract: 19 months.
  • Work Location: Remote.
