Role: Development Engineer for Electrical Machines

Location: Greater Nuremberg Area

Length: 12 Months

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years in a relevant role.
• Proficient in electromagnetic design and simulation, calculation tools, and finite element analysis software.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges independently.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders across departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Oversee electromagnetic design of synchronous and permanent magnet generators, including magnetic circuits, windings, and insulation.
• Simulation and Analysis: Conduct calculations and simulations of electromagnetic and thermal behaviors, ensuring optimal performance of electrical machines.
• System Support and Improvement: Manage existing systems within electromagnetic and thermal frameworks, continuously optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Customer Interaction: Prepare for and participate in customer meetings, handling inquiries and providing technical expertise.
• Documentation and Concept Evaluation: Generate technical documentation, evaluate feasibility of new concepts, and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Testing and Validation: Define type testing requirements, support prototype testing, and validate performance through rigorous testing.
