A midmarket PE fund are seeking a senior finance leader on an interim basis to help with transforming their finance function. The current finance function has several key issues which need resolving in order to maintain and gather the correct financial information in a timely manner.

Role:

• Seasoned interim Finance person with experience of transformation, mainly around processes, improvements and people;
• Ability to work with the CFO, Investors and founders in showing what good looks like and how to best automate and get the best out of the system;
• Current management accounts are a mess, so need someone who is comfortable getting into the detail and fixing issues;
• Look at ways of implementing processes to identify cost and how to capture it;
• Support the wider group in implementing best practice to deliver on outcomes across finance;
• Support with a Netsuite implementation which is currently have way through;

We are looking for an experience finance head, who is comfortable with “trouble shooting” and who can help clean up and sort out the finance function, whilst showing the founders that finance can be at the forefront of decision making.

Expectations:

• Qualified Accountant with experience of technical accounting/reporting;
• Experience and exposure to finance transformation and having led on changes within a business;
• Experience of working within a PE environment, ideally with a few PE houses;

Must have:

• Spanish, Italian and English language skills;

The role will require you to spend time in Spain or Italy, so therefore we need someone with those languages.
