Head of Insights and Data Analytics

About the Role

This role leads the development and use of CRM, data, and insights to support alumni engagement and fundraising. Overseeing a team of 8 in data, finance, and analytics, the Head of Data will ensure the CRM system is effective, improve data quality, and provide insights to guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Create and deliver a data strategy, manage resources, and support team growth.
• Systems & Data Management: Oversee CRM systems, data processes, and ensure security, working closely with IT and vendors.
• Reporting & Analysis: Lead reporting and data analysis, using PowerBI to provide actionable insights.
• Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, improve documentation, and ensure team members have the tools needed to use data effectively.
• Compliance: Ensure data practices follow GDPR and other data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing CRM systems, data platforms, project management, and data protection.
• Strong SQL, ETL, and PowerBI skills.
• Proven leadership experience with a focus on strategic planning and team development.

This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact at a leading university, using data to support meaningful engagement and fundraising. Pubic Sector experience is preferred but not required.
