Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Officer on 6-Month Contract based in South Wales

This Role is INSIDE IR35

Summary of Role:

Following the success of Cyber Security we are recruiting for a Cyber Security Officer to assist the existing Cyber Security team. The role will provide dedicated technical expertise and support for operational technologies (OT) and cyber disciplines at Cyber Security

Key accountabilities

· To add value to Cyber Security and pay a critical part in the development and expansion of Cyber Security capabilities and expertise.

· Demonstrate competence to EL96 LV3, and actively work towards EL96 LV4. Demonstrated competence and experience for working under and taking perimetry for work authorisation.

· Requirement to enact Site Controller/Authorising Engineer and Electrical Isolations to Cyber Security laboratory systems in line with our clients policy.

· To directly support the functional and operational work requirements of project work within and through Cyber Security across all OT assets.

· To review project documentation (e.g. Risk Assessment Method Statement, project brief) to inform Cyber Security working team of work requirements, and for Cyber Security management and engineering sign off.

· To take ownership of setting up Cyber Security equipment for project work, ensure that all needs of the project are met and available for work start date. Liaising with project contacts and consulting documentation for assurances.

· Maintaining programme documentation as required to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

Desirable Requirements:

· Detailed understanding of the Safe Control of Operations procedures and authorised as Authorising Engineer within SCO/91 and EL96 LV3 for all asset types and undertakes role of Job Owner and Site Controller

· Proven ability to complete maintenance on instrumentation, including organising, prioritising, and scheduling of work assignments.

· Ability to analyse and solve problems relating to instrumentation and related disciplines.
