Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: West Bromwich
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 6.45am- 17.00pm and Friday 7.00am - 16.30pm (Hours are negotiable from 40 hrs per week to 48 hrs per week)
Competitive Salary: £33- £42k Dependant on experience ( salary will be adjusted pro rata accordingly) A Competitive On call salary is also on offer.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled Electrical Engineering team within a lower tier COMAH facility and we are looking for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
* Electrical plant installation and modification work in an industrial environment.
* Statutory inspections.
* The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
* The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works.
* Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
* Ideally have a good understanding of ATEX requirements.
Qualifications /Experience:
* Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline as a minimum .
* Ideally you would have a recognised Electrical apprenticeship.
* Ideally you would have the 18th edition electrical wiring regulations.
* Ideally you would have a Complex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification but this is not a necessity.
* Ideally you would also have training with MEWP’s.
