Clinical Psychologist (Part-Time Contract) - Neurological Rehabilitation Service
Salary: £28,153 per annum (Pro Rata; FTE £56,306)
Location: Bromley, South East London
Hours: Part-Time (18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible days and times to be agreed)

Appoint Healthcare is proud to collaborate with a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with neurological, mental health needs, and learning disabilities. We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their brand-new, 15-bed neurorehabilitation service located near Bromley. This facility is dedicated to providing specialist post-acute rehabilitation and managing long-term neurological conditions for adults aged 18 and over.
Role Overview
The Clinical Psychologist will play a key role in delivering tailored, slow-stream rehabilitation programs that prioritize the individual needs of residents. This flexible approach allows patients to progress at their own pace, supporting them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a fully equipped therapy room with a kitchen and gym, as well as communal living areas designed to promote social interaction and support the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and protection of residents, upholding their human rights at all times.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clinical formulations to identify patients' needs and appropriate treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based individual and group treatment programs aimed at reducing the impact of patients' conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs, making necessary adjustments to support residents' progress.
Guide and support team members in implementing evidence-based psychological interventions.
Maintain high standards of security and risk management, adhering to all relevant procedures.
Stay up-to-date with CPD as a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist, ensuring competency in administering and interpreting psychological and risk assessments.
Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers.
Requirements
Current HCPC registration.
Experience or a demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
