Job Description
Frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equipment Supervisor/Technician for our client in Portland, to support the Generator & Equipment Manager with key responsibilities in generator deployment, maintenance, and equipment assembly.
The role involves overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and dispatch of project equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the preparation and dispatch of rental generators and equipment.
* Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections and ensure equipment functionality.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment, spares, and maintenance.
* Coordinate with the logistics team for timely transport arrangements.
* Oversee sub-contractor labor to meet project deadlines.
* Diagnose and repair diesel engines and electrical systems (20kVA – 500kVA).
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering or generator/electrical system repair.
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines and 12/24V electrical systems.
* Proven troubleshooting and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Understanding of IT and computers for reports, records and company correspondence requirements
Tools and all required equipment provided.

Must have the right to work in the UK
