About the role
As an English Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to students, ensuring they achieve their full academic potential. You’ll step in to cover planned and unplanned absences, working with secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in students’ education and gain experience in a variety of school settings.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum.
Maintain effective classroom management and support students’ learning.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and work effectively with existing staff.
Mark and assess students' work as required.
Uphold school policies and follow safeguarding protocols.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Strong subject knowledge in English at the secondary level.
Experience in classroom management and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
