EXPERIENCE REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER / AREA MANAGER WITH STRONG LEADERSHIP / MAN MANAGEMENT SKILLS REQUIRED FOR ESTABLISHED WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPERATION
TITLE: Regional Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling - North
SALARY: £Negotiable Circa £67-70K plus Car
LOCATION: This role is covering North of England; you will be based in the Northwest, Northeast or Yorkshire ideally well positioned for motorway access.
YOUR PREVIOUS JOB TITLE MAY HAVE BEEN: Multi-Site Operations Manager, Regional Manager, National Operations Manager, Area Manager, General Manager, Plant Manager, Regional General Manager
YOU MAY HAVE WORKED IN: Aggregates Recycling, Commercial & Industrial Waste, Total Waste Management, Energy from Waste, Clinical Waste, Washroom Services, Anaerobic Digestion, Hazardous Waste, Metal Recycling, General Waste, SRF, RDF, EfW Incineration or an industrial environment with production and logistical elements.
ROLE: Regional Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling - North
You will deliver leadership and roll out business strategy for a Waste Management & Recycling Operation.
You will support the Directors
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of service for your Region
You will strive to improve profitability and efficiency
You will work closely with the compliance team
You will look to deliver strong employee engagement across a multifunctional team
EXPERIENCE: Regional Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling - North
You will ideally have experience in the Commercial / Industrial Waste Management Sector, or a process or heavy manufacturing industry with both production and logistical elements.
You will be a proven leader / man manager with responsibility for multiple locations
You will have examples of improvements, effecting service delivery and driving employee engagement in previous roles.
Useful qualifications or training (non-essential) IOSH, NEBOSH, COTC / WAMITAB, IEMA, ILM, MBA, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Management, Financial, Six Sigma, Kanban, 5S, 5 Whys, TPS, Kaizen or other Lean or Continuous Improvement training.
