Job Description
Search Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a South Yorkshire based SME to recruit an Assistant Accountant. They are a small but fast-growing business looking to expand the finance team in line with the company's overall expansion.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who proactively works to grow within the role, looks to build partnerships with key stakeholders to gain a good overview of the business from the inside out and is eager to make a real difference to the company's success.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices with high attention to detail which will include different currencies and high volume, raising sales invoices, reconciling customer deposits, and assisting with credit control, you will also process bank reconciliations and expense claims whilst assisting the Financial Controller with month end reporting, cost analysis and any other ad hoc requirements
To be considered for the role you will meet the below criteria:
Studying towards AAT or equivalent
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
This is a full time role offering between £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience), hybrid working is available (2 days i the office) however during busy periods you will be expected to attend the office 3 days per week
