We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in accounts and a good understanding of handling expenses, invoices, and VAT.
The Part-Time Accounts Administrator role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
Review, validate, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Review employee expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policy and VAT regulations.
Assist in preparing VAT returns, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to relevant regulations.
Support with monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.
Ensure that all financial data is accurately entered into accounting software and well-maintained.
Provide support in preparing reports and summaries for the month-end closing.
Communicate effectively to resolve any invoice or expense discrepancies.
The Candidate
Experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of invoices, expenses, and VAT requirements.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Accuracy in data entry and document verification.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
