Job Responsibilities
Support clients in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care.
Assisting with the overall site PPM's
Line marking of services (water & gas) inclusive of lagging.
Painting of walkways, floors, handrails, barriers, drainage markings fresh & foul water
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Ensure that routine fabric maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
Ensure that all reactive tasks logged are carried out to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
The Fabric Technician will be required to carry out all moves and changes that the client requires to be carried out.
Undertake painting, decorating, and a full range of DIY tasks to ensure the meeting of service levels and to maintain an attractive decorative environment. Including replacing of ceiling tiles and floor tiles
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the Facilities Supervisor.
Ensure that fabric and engineering skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
Ensure the equipment storage areas in the facility are kept clean and tidy daily.
To Ensure tasks as directed are completed with the appropriate H&S awareness and implementation.
Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE always.
Ensure all near miss reports, dynamic risk assessments and detailed records of site activities are recorded.
Maintain internal and external signage.
Maintenance of Internal & external doors (non-fire, painting, hinges, handles)
To clean the onsite clean room to ISO standards according to the scheduled PPM
To clean the onsite kitchen according to the scheduled PPM
To perform PAT Testing according to the scheduled PPM
Assisting in Confined Space Tasks
To perform LEV weekly and monthly checks according to manufacturer's specifications and to perform filter changes as and when required in accordance with safe systems of work.
Any other task as directed by the site management team.
Qualifications needed:
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Experience of working in high profile work environment
Good Customer relationship skills
Understand and interpret technical drawings/instructions / processes.
Able to organize self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements.
Experience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etc
