Job Description
All Square Recruitment are working with a leader in metal fabrication based in Dunmow, Essex.
Due to increasing demand, we are recruiting a skilled Fabricator/Welder and Production Engineer to join their team.
This role offers excellent potential for career progression. You’ll start with hands-on training in basic machining and quickly advance to CNC machine operation, programming, and CAD design.
Fabricator/Production Engineer - Roles and Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and MIG weld various components with precision and high-quality standards.
* Ensure all parts are completed within agreed time frames to meet client expectations.
* Methodically prepare fabricated products for painting, ensuring a smooth finish ready for the paint application process.
* Assist with manual and CNC machining tasks for stock and custom orders.
* Program CNC machines and support CAD drawing and production planning (training provided).
Experience Required
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fabrication and welding roles.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Confident using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic numeracy for accurate measurements and calculations.
* Experience with sheet metal work is beneficial.
