We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and hard-working Sports Coach to become part of a cohesive, professional and supportive team within a school.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for any coach who wants to step foot in a school or has prior experience. You need to know all the sports played female for girls PE and male for boys PE) eager to be a part of a school that seeks to secure the very highest educational standards for students, who has high standards, commitment, passion, and the ability to teach across the full range of age and ability.
The department is both innovative and supportive with a history of good examination results at focused on inspiring children to reflect, learn and achieve.
Responsibilities:
* Planning, delivering and core lessons.
* Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally
* Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback
* Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.
* Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department
* Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Successful candidates should hold a recognised UK certificate or the international equivalent.
* Be free in school hours
* Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate
* Possess an excellent subject knowledge
* Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum
* Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
*Payment scale advertised is based upon experience
