4 on 4 off days and nights
Are you a hands on Mechanical Engineer, who's wanting to keep stimulated, develop your career and join an ever growing independant manufacturing company that have on going projects!
For this role, electrical bias isnt the case.... I'm looking to speak with the best of the best mechanically, you should be a strong Maintenenace Engineer with basic electrical knowledge (fault finding and rewiring). If you've worked on reactive ad preventative breakdowns showing proven experience, pnumatic and hydraulics experience as well as conveyor, belts, pumps, gearbox knowledge. You should have very good communication skills, be able to hold your own in a busy environment, but eager to learn the ways of the company and work inline with their ambitions and aims.
With continuous projects, no day is the same and there is always something to get your teeth stuck into. You'll be an important part of the production process, responsible for the smooth operation of machinery and ensuring that production can be carried out in the most effective and efficient way. We’re on a journey, aspiring to become a truly world class Engineering team and your involvement will be integral in making it happen.
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer (basic electrical knowledge required)
An appropriate Engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprentice trained)
Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
Ideally you will have worked in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments previously, however this is not absolutely necessary
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and plant.
Minimising down time and fault finding on a range of machinery in a fast paced and large-scale manufacturing environment
Assisting with root cause analysis, continuous improvement and general daily operational efficiencies
Assisting with project work as and when required, including the introduction of new plant and equipment
