Job Title: Cost Analyst Administrator
Reports To: Senior Program Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Cost Analyst Administrator to join our clients technology team. This position supports our clients Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) product line, a leading provider of sensing devices and systems for Electrical Utilities and Industrial customers. Our clients product line leverages cutting-edge technology to enable clients to optimise their key assets, including HV/MV power transformers and circuit breakers, using advanced tools such as On-line Dissolved Gas Measurement (DGA), Bushing Measurement, and Partial Discharge (PD).
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team to manage and track project spending, administer ERP and timesheet systems, and coordinate tax credits and external funding applications. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background in cost analysis, who thrives in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor and track project spending across the portfolio.
Prepare reports to support tax credit submissions and other financial reports.
Funding & Tax Credit Coordination:
Coordinate tax credit claims, including preparation of documentation and data as required.
Manage applications for external funding, such as Invest NI applications.
ERP & System Administration:
Oversee the ERP system and assist in administering timesheet applications for accurate cost tracking.
Visitor & Logistics Support:
Arrange and manage logistics for site visits, ensuring seamless coordination.
Process & Cost Optimization:
Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within operations and processes.
Participate in project activities and provide general support to the team as needed.Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cost analysis role, ideally within an product development environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate data from multiple sources to extract insights and create summaries.
Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork and independent work.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in tax credit submissions, ideally with HMRC.
Familiarity with Invest NI application processes.
Experience using SAP project management modules.
Background in a product development or engineering-focused environment.
Hours per week: 37 p/week, 7.4 p/day
Rate of pay: £14.35 - £15.38
