Key responsibilities:
Oversee and manage debt collection, proactively reducing outstanding balances.
Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients.
Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients professionally and tactfully.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, handling invoice queries and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable, highlighting outstanding issues.
Profile
The successful credit controller requires:
Proven experience in credit control or a similar role.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
