Design Engineer - Structural Steel

Hybrid role - looking for an experienced, high calibre Design Engineer - Structural Steel for our clients based in the Leeds area.

Role Requirements:

• Knowledge of structural steelwork design, relevant design codes and design software.
• Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Experience in steelwork design.
• Ability to produce supplementary hand calculations where necessary. The ability to produce Excel spreadsheets for design of specific details would be an advantage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
• Solid analytical abilities.
• Produce tender designs suitable for production of fixed price quotations to clients.
• Hot rolled, cold rolled and connection design, design experience.

Our clients have a salary range up to 50k per year experience (dependent on depth of experience and calibre) which can be discussed further at the intital interview.
