Senior Research Scientist

Go Tek are currently on the lookout for a talented Senior Research Scientist with experience in Protein Design and Enzyme Engineering for an AI Biotech Start-Up company. They're at the forefront of the AI-generated enzyme design revolution and you'll play a crucial part in taking this business to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing and benchmarking predictive methods for protein design.
• Enable the development of protein design leveraging ML/AI and physics-based methods.
• Enable the development of a resilient, model-agnostic platform and its continuous evolution, by following coding standards, best practices, and benchmarking processes.

Required Experience:

• A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science or related areas.
• Experience with AI protein design, protein structure and property prediction methods.
• Experience with protein structure and enzyme databases.
• Solid understanding of protein structure and function (e.g. enzymes).
• Proficiency with Python.
