Job Description
Summary
Morson is seeking adaptable and organised Electrical Engineers and Control & Instrument Engineers at any stage of their careers to join our embedded teams supporting a major Nuclear project in Somerset. This full-time role involves delivering discipline engineering scope on a major EPC project with a typical Total Installed Cost (TIC) of £500m+. Our team supports and develops you in the role, even if you haven’t experienced all aspects previously. You will work across the project lifecycle from bid generation to delivery, contributing to the UKs nuclear energy strategy to achieve net-zero carbon goals. You will interact directly with key clients and their engineers, solving complex problems, developing engineering solutions, and building knowledge and experience in the EC&I discipline.
Skills
Relevant engineering Degree/HNC/Chartership in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Adaptability and ability to transfer existing skills to new problems
Organisational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
Experience in design background
Client-facing and internal role experience
Problem-solving and research skills
Knowledge of updating Load Lists
Ability to collect and integrate detailed power supply and control requirements from system engineers
Understanding of safety and quality cultures
Strong communication skills
Software/Tools
CAD software
Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications & Standards
Relevant HNC/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Chartership in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (preferred)
Compliance with UK security clearance requirements
