Title: Tax Legal Secretary (12 Month FTC)

Location: London Liverpool St/Fenchurch St

Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 from home

Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting for a dynamic Legal Secretary to join the Tax practice of one of our prestigious, global law firm clients on a 12 month fixed term contract at their London office. In this role, you'll perform a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for firm attorneys. You'll maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff, ensuring confidentiality of client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively and establish good working relationships.Anticipate the needs of attorneys with excellent attention to detail.Follow document processing methods, create, spell check, edit, and proofread work product.Transcribe from handwritten materials and dictation.Maintain calendar and deadline reminder systems.Organize and prioritize telephone calls, mail, documents, and projects.Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, and departmental activities.Book travel/accommodation arrangements and process travel expenses.Maintain e-filing and records management systems.Open new files, maintain client and general files, and prepare files for storage.Update client contacts using the Client Relationship Management system (CRM).Ensure timely entry of lawyers weekly timesheets.Provide administrative support for partners and attorneys.Work closely with administrative support staff and provide additional support during absences.Perform overload document work requests, filing, and photocopying.Participate in team, departmental, and Firm-wide meetings.Qualifications:

Ideally 2 years' legal secretarial experience.Excellent English language and grammar skills.Strong organizational and prioritization skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Visio a plus.Due to the high volume of applications, we are not able to respond to all enquiries.
